SUPERVISOR, SW Region
The Supervisor position is a Leadership role within Hylan and recognized as a significant and highly respected position within the structure. The Supervisor will be fully responsible for managing all work assignments related to the safety, coordination, equipment, personnel, project close out, customer, and public relations. The Supervisor position will report to the Project Manager. The Supervisor position will be required to work with administrative, shop, and safety leaders accordingly while maintaining a direct report to the Project Manager. This position is based in our Phoenix, AZ office.

Responsibilities:
The Supervisor position will be required to manage no less than three (3) crews and no more than five (5) crews depending on the logistics of an individual project and contracts.
Responsible for all production related to assigned projects to include coordination of all crew employees and equipment within their structural assignment.
Responsible for all project close-out documentation and execution, such as but not limited to, final
change orders, blue stake cancelations, closing permits, as-builts, and completed files for billing.
Responsible for completing and identifying when a change order is required per customer contract.
Participate in weekly and monthly scheduling meetings to maintain construction coordination and minimize delays.
Uphold and enforce all requirements related to discipline, safety, health administration, and Federal Motor Carrier regulations within the structure, per company policies and procedures.
Hold their team accountable to attend and participate in all mandatory company scheduled safety training.
Job Site Observations are to be completed by the Supervisor on a periodic basis.
Be able to perform all assigned work functions with little or no assistance from the Project Manager.

Qualifications:
5+ years or more previous industry experience in utility construction
Be available to work overtime
Must be able to effectively communicate with crew, inspectors and customer representatives on site
Experience working with customer specifications, outside agencies, and utility companies
Ability to communicate effectively and handle projects top to bottom
Work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Certificates/Licenses:
OHSA 10Hr., Confined Space Training, Competent Person Training, First Aid / CPR
Class A CDL
Bi-lingual

Salary: $68,000-$75,000
Candidates must be able to complete and pass a background check including a drug screen, DOT physical.
