Job Purpose
The Senior Financial Analyst drives strategic decision-making by conducting in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. They develop complex financial models, track KPIs, evaluate investment opportunities, and present actionable financial insights to senior management to ensure fiscal health. Our Company is in the Construction Industry, therefore, experience in the industry is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Play a critical role in leading the enterprise consolidation for the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cashflow for planning, strategic decision-making and forecasting.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes including the preparation of all internal financial presentations to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
• Support organizational financing needs through development of financial modeling to support lender and rating agency reviews.
• Enterprise leadership of debt financing, covenant reporting, modeling and methodology.
• Manage Weekly Cash Forecasting and reporting to CFO and Lenders
• Lead role in quarterly, annual and multi-year budget preparation and tracking against financial targets
• Working closely with management and cross-functional teams to inform financial planning and strategy
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CMA or CPA desired.
• 5+ years related finance work experience.
• Strong understanding of the interconnectivity between the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
• Previous experience with executive level reporting and communications.
• Prior experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Construction and Sage 300 CRE experience preferred
