If you want to learn more about Hylan’s field work, look no further. Our newest case study touches on our work with DF&I, a provider of dark fiber and conduit networks on a new fiber route in the Virginia and Maryland area. Hylan’s Down Under Construction (DUC) division, who has worked with DF&I for years, was able to draw on their construction and geographic expertise to ensure the project was successful. From knowing how to execute the proper aspects of the build to a deeply familiar understanding of local zoning and permitting laws, the DUC team provided a clear advantage over other potential construction partners for DF&I.

This new fiber route brings additional connectivity and scale to one of the world’s premier cloud and data center markets. This will be the most direct, low latency, 100% underground connection between the I-95 corridor south of Baltimore through Ashburn, utilizing the unique Potomac River Crossing north of Ashburn. A new fiber route is imperative to such a high-demand area, where creating diversity and scalability contributes to global and national connection abilities.
