Yesterday, June 21st, Bill LaPerch, Executive Chairman at Hylan, had the distinct pleasure of addressing the Wells Fargo Security 5G Conference as the keynote speaker and representative of Hylan and its efforts to help build a dense fiber infrastructure. One of the key points that he took away was that although 5G is an important initiative, it is just one of the use cases for a more dense fiber network. Other use cases include:
- Increased broadband speeds at home
- Servicing the Internet of Things (IoT) evolution
- Ensuring the right latency is available for artificial intelligence (AI) and virtualization initiatives
