Hylan Chairman of the Board Robert DiLeo offered his industry expertise and valuable insights on Connected2Fiber’s Virtual Roundtable, which took place at the end of October. The roundtable, titled, “In-Building Wireless Trends and the Transformative Impact of 5G,” explored the benefits and challenges of the burgeoning in-building wireless market. DiLeo was joined by respected industry experts such as Ben Edmond, Founder and CEO of Connected2Fiber; Kevin Rocks, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of South Reach Networks and Sam Pratt, CEO of Render.
In-building wireless coverage is an extremely beneficial wireless service that brings connections directly into facilities to allow for faster and more reliable network connections. DiLeo and his fellow panelists discussed the network and infrastructure requirements and challenges associated with these deployments. From bandwidth requirements to potential network strain, the panel explored these challenges and discussed their unique perspectives and opinions on how to best overcome these challenges.
DiLeo was able to offer his insights as related to Hylan, an industry leader in wireless and telecom infrastructure construction. His extensive knowledge of the construction of deployments such as in-building wireless allowed him to offer solutions, quite literally, from the ground up.
